Public beta

Privacy

Effective July 12, 2026.

TesMon stores the account, garage, and vehicle data needed to provide its monitoring and dashboard features. This includes your profile and preferences, encrypted Tesla OAuth credentials, vehicle identity and readings, charging and trip history when available, saved places, location data, and security or operational logs.

How data is used

TesMon uses this data to connect your Tesla account, collect the monitoring data you request, build history and analytics, deliver configured notifications, secure the service, and diagnose support issues. TesMon does not sell personal or vehicle data.

Garage boundaries

Garage memberships and vehicle-sharing grants control access. Owners and members may see garage data according to their role; viewers require an explicit vehicle grant. Invite only people who should have access and remove access when it is no longer needed.

Service providers

The beta relies on Tesla for connected-vehicle access, a hosting provider for application and database storage, and an email provider for account messages. Paid billing is not enabled during the beta.

Retention and control

Data is retained while an account or garage remains active so historical analytics keep working. You can disconnect Tesla to stop future collection. Account export and deletion controls are available in Settings; deletion removes active application data, while encrypted backups may persist temporarily for disaster recovery until they rotate out.

Beta operations

During beta testing, operational records may be reviewed to diagnose errors, improve the product, prevent abuse, and respond to support requests. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, so report suspected account or data exposure promptly.

Questions

Use the support page for questions about this beta instance or ask the person who invited you to the garage.
